A creative powerhouse that has spent his life forging sensory experiences that heighten each journey. With his latest brand, Drumplings, St.Mor desires to offer a new taste experience by connecting people to flavours from all over the world through a delicate, mouth-watering parcel of joy, the dumpling. 

Qualified Industrial Designer & Product Design, Deon started out with his own multi-disciplinary design agency. With award winning designs under his belt he moved forward to pursue his love of product design and started D1 design, creating & retailing bespoke furniture & homeware products.

In 2001 Deon founded MOR Cosmetics which quickly became Australia’s 11th fastest growing company leading to a globally distributed cosmetics brand. Sold in over 12,000 stores globally, MOR became a cult favourite in the Asia Pacific region Taiwan, China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, in addition to having office locations in the UK and USA. MOR Cosmetics was purchased by China’s 3rd largest cosmetics retailer, UA Holdings, in 2016.

Next was the first ever Glamping hotel located in the centre of Melbourne’s CBD on a rooftop. Co-created with Jerome Borazio the hotel featured 21 tents pitched to a city rooftop. Deon was the brainchild behind the entire creative direction of the brand and concept.

“I love travelling the globe for business and pleasure. There are so many favourite destinations such as Lake Como in Italy where I find total relaxation, Japan for its incredible design inspiration and Brazil for the vibrant energy portrayed by its locals. However the most fun I have is road tripping motorcycles through Hawaii or Vietnam” - all of these give unparalleled inspiration to the above brands.

MOR is proudly Australian and recognised globally for its collection of pampering bodycare and lifestyle products. “I have had a passion for design and all things beautiful. It wasn’t long before i fell in love with the idea of creating a luxurious bath and body brand, which then resulted in the birth of the MOR brand. It was literally through experimentation and a growing love for what we refer to as ‘modern apothecary,’ a blend of age old and contemporary ingredients to create a personalised sensory journey. This approach ultimately defines the MOR brand,” says Mr. St.Mor. Deon has built MOR into a global cult brand that continues to deliver loyalty and valuable returning customers.

Today, Deon St.Mor through his vast experience and knowledge of the luxury consumer category have launched a new brand called Drumplings - Drumplings is Deon’s 5th startup. 

Drumplings is a culmination of Deon’s design, retail and business experience, bringing them all together in one delicious package that is setup to take on the global fast - food market in a truly fun and innovative way..
